Analysis and research on the evaluation methods of computer basic courses

- Taking Polus International College as an Example

Abstract

Basic computer course is a compulsory course in modern colleges and universities, its content covers the basic knowledge of computer, working principle, operating system, office software use and so on. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the evaluation method suitable for the basic computer course and improve the teaching quality of the course. First of all, this paper analyzes the current commonly used computer basic course evaluation methods, combined with the actual situation, designed a set of diversified evaluation system, including students’ theoretical performance analysis, hands-on ability, value-added evaluation and other ways, to carry out a comprehensive and systematic evaluation of the course. Finally, this paper summarizes the importance and practical experience of computer foundation course evaluation, and puts forward some suggestions for further research.
