Abstract

The Chinese government has put forward clear requirements for vocational education in China, and in the document “Several Opinions on Deepening the Integration of Industry and Education”, the Chinese government has further made a comprehensive deployment, and the integration of industry and education has become a basic institutional arrangement for the national education reform and the development of human resources. Under the perspective of the integration of industry and education, the professional development of teachers in vocational colleges and universities is inseparable from enterprise practice. Teachers practicing in enterprises is an effective way to cultivate teachers with “teaching ability and practical ability”. This paper discusses how Chinese vocational colleges and universities can utilize their own advantages to encourage teachers to enhance their professional development through enterprise practice, from the connotation of industry-teaching integration, the relationship between enterprise practice and teachers’ professional development, and the construction of teachers’ enterprise practice mode.
