In the context of “internet Plus” era, the vocational education of China has undergone profound changes in vocational colleges, enterprises and social fields. Internet plus concept with modern information technology as its core has changed the development concept, management mode and teaching means of traditional vocational education. At the same time, vocational colleges in the Internet plus context are also facing difficulties such as unclear development positioning, backward teaching methods and in-adaptable talent training modes. Therefore, vocational colleges in the Internet plus context shall strengthen the top-level design and create their own characteristics; change the concept of education, deepen the integration of industry and education; change teaching methods and means, promote technical changes; strengthen the construction of majors and curriculum reform; deepen the cooperation between schools and enterprises and accelerate the integration with the market and other measures.

Education quality is largely determined by teaching quality, while teacher development is crucial for the overall development of education. Looking int of existing problems, the paper examines the teacher development at private higher vocational college, and offers a series of measures for teacher development through scientific research, including that in system guarantee, financial support, project initiative and training activities.
